Freedom of Information

All public authorities, including schools, are required under the Freedom of Information Act to adopt a publication scheme that has been approved by the Information Commissioner.

We have met this duty by adopting the ICO's model publication scheme

The method by which information published will be made available

Much of the information that parents and carers need will be made available through our school website.

Should you have a query about any information you cannot seem to find, it is best to get in touch with our School Business Manager. Details can be found on our Contact Us page.

In some cases, information will be only available to look at in person.

In some cases, it may only be possible for us to make copies and send them to you.

Charges which may be made for information published under this scheme

Material which is published and accessed on our website will be provided free of charge.

Paper copies of any information on our website will be provided free of charge.

On occasion, some information found only in school, may only be copied for you.

Charges will be applied for these types of information:

  • photocopying  (5p per sheet)
  • postage and packaging (as per Royal Mail costings)
  • the costs directly incurred as a result of viewing information e.g. staff time if they are called away from day-to-day duties
